Almost a year ago, Aymeric Laporte made the move from La Liga to the Premier League as he signed for City from Athletic Bilbao.

So glad that we got him instead of John Evans. Great to meet him in Bangkok before the start of the season.
Even though he doesn't seem to be the most vocal/loud guy off the pitch, even though he is still relatively young and only joined a year ago – on the pitch he plays and carries himself like a captain. A true warrior.
