Didn’t really watch EFD until these three started this
The clubs in the UCL this season are the worst they could be. Chelsea are shit, Liverpool have been shit and Tottenham…
Aside from City really those other 3,even if they qualify, aren't in a good moment rn
My opinion is that since epl is far more competitive than other leagues…the teams r failing to replicate the results in Europe..then again it's Chelsea Liverpool and Spurs 🤣
3 posh boys talking shit
Failing in the Champions league
United and Arsenal are doing just fine thanks
I mean we legit hav our bum mid table teams competing in the ucl n our best teams arent even there😂😂
Where does this idea that the Premier League deserves to be the most financially powerful league in the world???
With the way English clubs are spending money the European super league is inevitable at this point
I must say, seeing the English teams underperform in Europe especially after FD constantly talking about the superiority of the Premier league and how other leagues should just “do better”….is very gratifying.
i'd be happy to wear a russian shirt Z
doesnt feel like an EFD topic tbh.
Dougie absolutely NAILING the Utd Barca result is why he's one of the best FD pundits – class video lads x
How many English sides do you think will go through?
Surely it has to do with the english teams being terrible in the league aswell, except utd and City
Overpaying for players because the teams need results NOW. Richarlison is a very talented player but he isn’t close to what his contract cost.
Failing in Europe because they're failing in their leagues as well, the pace of the English league and the competitiveness means teams are turning up to the European stage exhausted and then have to go back to their league exhausted as well, whereas other leagues are slower paced and so teams have more energy to burn on the European stage…
Spurs absolutely disrespected with a segment not even half as long as the Chelsea segment
Arsenal are Europe's elite English team
daily reminder that vini jr is clear of any prem player, except for wonderful KDB
The prem is the new super league
Try Palestinian jersey, or Libya, or idk Syria Vietnam Yemen and so on… You are great lads, don't belive all propaganda you hear from UK news
MSN TRIO back at it again , I really look forward this continental show y'all the best.
Dougie I like you but McCubbs is right , who predict in last have a slight advantage over the others. Cheers guys ✌️
27:27 You certainly don't look like a mug Dougie. Bang on prediction.
“United is the 3rd best vs Barca who are definitively the best side in Spain is a better gauge of the difference between the leagues”. How’s that work? Apply that logic to champions league with Real crushing Liverpool, or Chelsea losing to Dortmund or the countless times in other leagues that English teams have flopped. The eagerness to twist every english loss as an enigma and every win as a sign of outright dominance is insane and so stubborn.
Bcs of Madrid
Lmao the I thought the cringe wouldn’t get worse after the whole war thing, but then I heard all the coping they’re doing about the premier league teams failing in the UCL and was proven wrong.
4 teams in the last 16 of the Champions League can hardly be called a failure.
Whenever the english clubs do well in europe: That's because the prem is just the best league with the best teams and they're just that good.
Whenever english clubs do bad in europe : well the premier league is so tough that the teams are too tired to do well in europe and they can't focus on both!
No matter how the theams perform, it'll be twisted to somehow mean the English teams are just superior.
This is supposed to be continental club and yet this episode was about the PL lol
mcCubbin is my favourite presenter! lets go buddy
I feel like part of the reason of why English clubs are not doing well is because as you pointed out English teams in UCL are currently not very good. And thing is about EPL and how competitive it is is that teams that are "good" and "bad" change frequently, but clubs participate in continental tournaments based on their last season performance. So e.g. Man United and Arsenal are good this season but were bad last season so they are doing well… in Europa League. Meanwhile Liverpool was great last season so they are in UCL but they aren't that good anymore. And who knows maybe next season Liverpool gets good again and will be crushing it in Europa League as well. Meanwhile hypothetical Bayern or PSG can be poor and still keep their UCL spot until they become good again.
