Ive seen some great away games and loved our 5-3 win over CHE home on NYD ages ago w a Kane Brace and the Taxi for Maicon game with Bale but i have to give it to what i believe was the PL game of the season 07/08:
Spurs: 6
Reading: 4
-I just remember it was a close, we score early, they equalize and it a tight 1-1 game at HT
-Then Reading take an early 2nd hlf Lead 10mins in to make it 2-1
-THEN CHAOS – 63rd to 83rd Min saw SEVEN GOALS back and forth till we pulled away as Berbatov had FOUR goals inc. a hatrick in that 20min period alone!

I was in the corner of the South Stand that Sonny ran to after he scored his puskas. That was a pretty special one for me.

Spurs 4 – West Brom 0
Kane hat trick. Incredible day.
The 3-1 win against Madrid at Wembley back in November 2017. Will always remember being sat next to an older guy, who when I asked what he thought the score would be, said “3 nil to us”. Remember (in my mind) scoffing, and thinking “yeah right”. Needless to say, after Eriksen’s goal I turned straight to him.
1981 FA Cup Final. (replay obvs)

Tottenham 3-0 Arsenal in the conte season, fell asleep on the train, woke up in Norwich and had to pay £70 for a taxi home, insane night
also my first game was at selhearst (sp) in the purple 90’s collared purple kits haha – when Wimbeldon was between grounds in the mid 90’s and Ginola was great but Klinsmann scored FOUR to make it 6-2 and save us from relegation haha – also getting a late draw vs ARSEnal the yr they went undefeated was a nice moral victory haha
Europa Final, amazing night . Would never forget that johnson goal and VDV save
Honestly, the best atmosphere I’ve ever been a part of was the semi against Bodo.
And there was a Bodo fan on the overground on the way home who was a great laugh, really chill guy, he tagged along with me to Kings Cross telling me how they were going to turn us over on their plastic pitch.
Klinsmann’s debut, away at Sheffield Wednesday, I was in the away end, Leppings Lane upper tier. Great game, the famous dive celebration, all for £14!

1st European away was at the San Siro for the Bale hattrick. Lads I was with wanted to leave at half time, I didn’t want to get left on my own so had to beg them repeatedly to stay, I’d have never forgiven myself, or them, if we’d left early
Madrid 3-1 Wembley. Absolutely insane. Stayed in the stadium as long as possible partying with the fans. Best night I’ve had with my dad at football. What a moment
hahahah cant take reddit fr ever but how is this at 49% upvotes after 3.5k people, are people feeling attacked by the question lmfao
we’re all in this together yall, may as well remember the better times for now!
or downvote it, i think i may just survive haha (tho i do like reading others picks and finding highlights!)
Btw has anyone been to the Mouracle? if so you win!
Inter at home 3-1
The best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced
Last NLD at the old Lane. Great day
Inter 3-1, Arsenal 5-1, maybe even Danny Rose against Arsenal too. But I think my highlight is the last ever game at WHL, highlights here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AmrPmQ9OTlo&pp=ygUvVG90dGVuaGFtIDItMSBtYW5jaGVzdGVyIHVuaXRlZCB3aGl0ZSBoYXJ0IGxhbmU%3D
Best was probably the 3-1 against inter Milan.
But my first game was away at Palace in the Klinsmann season. A school friend of mine worked in the ticket office at Selhurst Park and got tickets for us to watch the game. Which was great but meant I had to sit with the palace fans.
Palace were winning 1-0 and with a couple of minutes left my friend says he wants to leave early to avoid the crowds. As we get up to leave, spurs get a free kick. And just as we’re walking away from the seating area Klinsmann scores an absolute worldie.
I start celebrating and then realise I’m surrounded by very unhappy palace fans who let me know exactly what they think of me.

Spurs – Oxford United 3-1, Hoddle’s last home goal.
I was at the Spurs vs Reading game and where my seat was at the time the floodlights blocked the bit of the jumbotron where the score was.
I and the people round had no idea what the score was.
I was also at the Wigan 9-1 game. People often forget that it was 1-1 at half time despite a clear handball, (the more things change the more they stay the same eh).
So those two games had the most goals.
Taxi for Maicon was just epic though the reigning European Champions being taken apart by us. The feeling was great until we lost to Bolton on Saturday
The last game we came back after going behind at half time. home game against villa 2024 4-1… wasnt able to visit again since then
That reading game is one of my highlights too. I’d only recently got properly talking to my dad again after an experience that left us briefly not on good terms. We decided to put things aside and head to the game. Sat down by the corner flag where all those second half goals were scored… We left buzzing and was just what we needed.
I have attended 3 games. An absolute drubbing by Newcastle in St James park 2 seasons ago. A 2 nil loss to Newcastle in the Spurs stadium this season, and a 1 all draw with an already relegated Watford, thanks to a 93rd minute Dele equaliser (note, we were also absolutely shite in this game too). Proper COYS. And no, I’d rather not share any of the highlights.
thanks for so many great stories and highlights included yall, we got so many era’s of games and we all have our own reason for remembering them – lord knows we could use some good memories rn haha

Beating the arse 3-1 in the 91 fa cup semi final with *that* Gazza free kick. Will probably never be beaten for me. It was probably in part because I had zero expectation we would win and also because I was pretty young when it all just meant that much more.
Jose Mourinho’s first home game against Man City when we won 2-0. The game had EVERYTHING! Debut goal from Bergwijn, a penalty save from Hugo, a full on fight between players, a red card, and THAT iconic Jose touchline moment. Such a brilliant game to be at.
I was at Wembley when we won the cup and Ricky scored THAT goal!
