Was doing some analysis on different metrics, and put together data on the most accurate passers in the Premier League this season (players with at least 150 passes).
Comes out that Van de Ven is top with 95.5%. Mateus Fernandes is fifth.
Then at the other end of the pitch, Savinho has completed more dribbles than anyone in the league (18), Marmoush is second (13), and Kudus has 12 in only 188 minutes.
Spurs fans, I'd love to hear your thoughts: any of this surprise you?

All well and good but with Solanke up front we are fookedÂ
So what?
Lots of defenders making easy passes fill out these lists every season. Van Hecke’s are slightly more impressive, as he attempts more progressive and difficult ones fairly frequently.
great stat, now about the winning
Hope / Cope but I still think things will start to click when one of our strikers remembers you can kick the ball toward that square thing
Brighton’s Ivaylo Ivanov? Think your app needs some work if it’s pulling no name Bulgarian league players for this
This is a pointless stat. VdV plays very safe passes
Going to the top! The top 6! Then the top 4! Then the top 2!
The fact it’s so clear all we need is some clinical finishers yet went into the season choosing to rely on Solanke is uniquely infuriating
Micky isnt exactly known for his risky passes, but I am pleasantly surprised by Mateus and JP’s incpusion on this list
Just need to put it in the back of the net though
Why is tottenham 19th?!
Definitely testing that hypothesis of “what if using statistics to analyse football is actually useless?”
Don’t care. Start winning!
COYS!!!
