Great analysis as always from Dougie and McCubbs! I agree with Dougie, Man City aren’t as strong this season as they have been in the past I definitely don’t think they are winning the champions league this year I think Real will win it again. But in regards to this tie I can still see Halland just scoring 3 goals in 15 minutes or something mad like that I just never know with Halland it’s a coin toss whether he shows up or not. But I anticipate the second leg to be all out action
City struggled
man city in transcation. Wtf.
City is the most overrated team left in UCL, apart maybe from Liverpool. It's just not a 30% chance they have of lifting the trophy at this stage (3,25 odds rn). Maybe something like a 20% chance would be close. Betting markets get them wrong every single year, hyped on by the spin and solipsistic delusions of the English footy media. They aren't even as good as they were last year, or at least look older. Pep must sub younger players on earlier.
Imagine if Pep manages to lose the Premier League to Arsenal and get knocked out in the Round of 16 of the UCL after buying Haaland. His legacy will be completely destroyed.
City and Liverpool need to be 100% every week with even relegation based teams taking points off all top teams. Rest Europe a big teams can have Breather in half of their league matches playing half bad/half worse teams
