Didn’t take long did it?!!.
Interesting there’s no author assigned to it( we know it’s you Stoney).

Jesus f*cking christ, can they make everything about Man Utd. City caught cheating on a massive scale….quick lets produce some Man Utd articles.

Come on media, took you long enough you rats. Wouldn’t be surprised if some media reporters are paid off by City at this point…

“But they’ve spent money!” The typical refrain from anti-United pundits whenever the shittiness of the Glazers is brought up.
No. They haven’t ever spent money. They’ve allowed the club to spend some of its own money, while also forcing the club to manage the debt that they placed on it.
Manchester United haters could not have devised a better retribution on the club than what the Glazer ownership has brought.
Not-good-with-this on
The article aside from the slight bit on Man City is actually pretty fine… It does shed a lot on the mismanagement of the club and how the Glazers debt is impacting the club negatively.
Wish it went further on questioning how the club plans to fund a new stadium while trying to get more competitive….

City is that irrelevant even commiting the biggest footballing scandal ever wasn’t enough to keep journalists from mentioning United.

My only hope for us, ignoring city, is that debt starts being accounted for in PSR/ffp and it means we’re fucked until the glazers start clearing it

Obviously the clicks are dropping on the man city side of things

can people please just read the article instead of getting angry with a headline. For the love of god

This article is just recycled reporting of our annual report. The only “link” to City is the sort of equivalency between United’s interest payments and City’s cheating.

Shocked it took them so long to be honest.
You just know they’re itching to use “Manchester” as a collective for the club names at one point.

At this point part of the sanctions should be for city to pay united royalties for keeping them relevant

Light? United’s finance is currently pretty dark thanks to those shameless leeches Glazers.

I haven’t read the article yet, but there is no way you can link the clubs through this scandal.
Leveraged buyouts of premier league clubs are now banned, so the situation we have found ourselves in, is the same one we have protested for 21 years.
We were self made before then and had a global following through actual success.

*Did they miss the 4 reports a year they have given the last 20 plus years. United’s finances are an open book by law, thou you could just right fucked and get the same result.*
*Maybe the City thing will force the owners to pay off the loans. doubt it, but you can live in hope.*

Oh look. Seems people *did know* we’re not just mad because we spent badly.
Well, I’m glad now it’s convenient we can keep this front page news and push for a change of ownership rules. Both ours and City’s, because neither should have ever have been permitted and both are damaging to the clubs in different ways.

United owners harmed United by taking money OUT of United, loading United with such a massive debt and then without putting any of their own in while City …

Coty owners – 2 billion put in up to 2018 between allowed equity and fraud.
Glazers – 2 billion taken out of the club.
Yet the rats who present themselves as journalists are trying to claim their the same thing

While the club’s hierarchy deserves an enormous chunk of the blame for the 13 years since Fergie retired, there is something of an argument to be made that United’s absurd spending is in part to do with trying not to be left behind by the cheating neighbours.
The wages offered to Sanchez, for example, to get him to join United instead of City. Would we have offered him anywhere near as much had it not been for the inflated wages City spent?
All that while saddled with an ever increasing debt and, up until the Ineos takeover, millions on dividends for the wonderful owners of the club… As I said, people like Woodward, Arnold, the Glazers etc deserve all the flack directed at them, but I find it interesting to wonder if we’d have spent as much on signings had it not been for City.

Neither model should have been allowed – a country owning a club, nor a leveraged buy out that saddles the club with all the leveraged buy out debt.
Seeing how Abu Dhabi are behaving now, I’m not sure which club has the worst owners.
Glazers just greedy, aloof and selfish, while Abu Dhabi are showing the full range of James Bond villains.
