Was clearly an unlucky shot. You can see he’s meaning to curl it more than he did but struck it in the wrong place, under decent pressure. He’s a good player, sick of people getting on the backs of all of our players because they don’t score every single chance they get.

I’m worried about him, I really am. Scoring goals for City when you’ve come on as a sub is not the same as the role he has with us. It’s like Tel at Bayern, anyone can get decent stats in a team like that. Most of the time you’re coming on when the better players have already won the game. The pressure is off.
In his games for us so far he hasn’t shown any real predatory qualities, he’s been a bit of a show pony. Some nice flicks and movements but when the moment comes to do something decisive he looks feeble. It’s a big concern because aside from Maddison and Deki I don’t think any of our attackers have anything clinical about them.
