    1. This must be the “break glass in case of emergency” opinion if you have zero to say.

“None of X would get into Y’s starting XI”

Aye, okay, is that your balanced, objective opinion?

      “No”

      Cheers

This utter pish is right up there with x team are 5 years or £100 mil behind Y team.

Having said that, like every old firm fan, I can’t currently think of any Celtic players I’d have starting for Rangers

    3. Mental comment to make.

A few shockers and Celtic being wrote off again, think I’ve seen this one before.

    4. Its not even October yet. Surely this is a comment that should be saved for just before the New Year derby.

    5. It’s hilarious the absolute extreme swings from pundits – A few weeks ago most of them pretty much had McInnes out the door. A couple of good results later and literally every single player they have is supposed to be better than any of Celtics! 😂

How about being just a wee bit less reactionary…

    6. He was asked and answered a question to get the reaction people are giving. Nobody reads or believes anything in the Daily Record though.

I love when rangers get over confident early in the season, makes winning the league even funnier

    8. Quite an irrelevant question this. The approach Rangers take to squad building has resulted in 1 league title in 15 years.

It doesn’t really matter if no Celtic player would make it into a Rangers team, because legs and long balls don’t win the league in Scotland. I imagine most Rangers fans would have only taken Maeda and Nygren last year.

    9. Celtic have good players but the system we play, wouldn’t suit a lot of them & they’d struggle.

Tierney is more of a straight WB. Penrice is playing a mix of LB/CDM.

CB we require our CBs to either play it or bring it out of defence. Celtic’s defence isn’t adept at that. CCV would be the pick but his injuries seem to be taking their toll.

Donovan is a very promising player but couldn’t play the role Sterling plays. Likewise Sterling isn’t good enough attacking for what Celtic wants in their RB.

I like Baur but he can’t play in a 2.

McGregor’s legs are struggling to play in a 3, nevermind a 2 man midfield.

Nygren is a very effective player but his best position is CAM. We rarely use one.

Hassan & Gassama brothers in no real end product

Duran I think would be very good in the Rangers team. The amount of knock ons & balls over the top his pace would get him onto would be insane.

Hogh I honestly have no idea if he’s good or not. Despite his size, he’s not physical enough to play the way Kelsey and Naderi play.

Probably a lot of our players wouldn’t suit Celtic’s 433 either.

We play 2 very different formations & styles of football. It requires very specific profiles for Rangers to work. Celtic’s requires a very different profile of CM to what Rangers require.
