If Usyk fight doesn't happen, Fury has to fight who all the fans are calling for – Liam Smith. After his win over Eubank, Smith's stock is at an all time high, and its a genuine 50/50 fight.
Tyson has always said it is NOT about the money… This will prove if it is true or not!
Saudi was supposedly offering Usyk and Fury £75m each. Now the Wembley pot is barely £50m total. Even if they do 50/50, Fury has just cost Usyk about £50m because he didn't take the Saudi offer. Now Fury wants 60% of the smaller Wembley pot? That's just wrong and stupid

Of course it should be 50/50 split. But it's not about money, it's about Fury not wanting to have anything to do with Usyk because he's the worst possible opponent for him. Fast, agile, best distance control in world, killer cardio and conditioning and incredible boxing IQ. Hats off to Fury if he takes the fight but it's a very risky one because he just doesn't have the speed it requires to fight Usyk.

IF it doesn't get made then it will be Fury's fault. 50-50 is more than fair for this fight and if there is a rematch clause (bound to be eh?) then it can be 60-40. Nothing wrong with that. But I sense Fury (or his team) are letting that be the excuse. And I am a Fury fan (sort of) in that I don't think there is anyone who can beat him. The thing is I now believe he is afraid – not of Usyk or AJ – but of losing his "0". It's a big selling point of his (and many boxers) but it is becoming a bit of a millstone around his neck. It is making him too cautious of just getting the Usyk and Joshua fights out of the way then retiring with a fantastic legacy.
We shall see. Isn't Fury in Saudi this week for his bother's fight?
