With the news dominating everything today, I started thinking about why I actually started supporting this club in the first place.
For me it was the generation of toure, Kompany, Silva and Aguero, thinking back they were absolutely unreal. Yaya running through midfield, Kompany at the back, Silva making everything look effortless and Aguero scoring goals like it was nothing.
Obviously the club has changed massively since then but again.. COME ON CITYš©µ

I wanted to get into football in high school back in 2011. The popular teams at my school were Barca, Real Madrid and Manchester United(there were a lot of Mexicans at my school and they were chicharito fans). I didnāt want to follow the crowd so I chose the blue team that beat United 6-1 during that time, which happens to be Manchester City. Been a devoted supporter since then. Of course I was not aware about their history or the takeover until some time later. Iāve enjoyed years of winning and those memories will live on forever.
If city are officially declared guilty and the punishment leads to relegation, then so be it but I will follow this team until the day I die.

I grew up 10minute walk from the ground & my dad has been a lifelong city fan. One of the first games I went to I remember was in 2009, it was freezing cold we got pumped 3-0 by Forrest in a cup game 2009. I remember asking him whether Forrest were a good side, he told me ānoā.

I am playing Fifa 12 and I like the Man City logo, the core of Aguero, Kompany, David Sila and Toure, Joe Hart made me fan since then.
After following them since then, they won their first PL trophy with the Aguero screamer!

The first band I ever got into was Oasis. My first guitar (that I still have) was the Epiphone Supernova in Manchester City blue.
My dad started supporting City in the 80s, My brother and I followed after by the time we were born.
It was always the feeling of fighting till the last drop, not giving up and staying strong.
I started supporting during pep era, I mean I am not that old rn so makes sense, but I just feel in love with the way kdb and David Silva played they were fav players I think I enjoyed watching only Messi more sadly as a kid Barca matches in my country came around really late prem matches on the other hand most of them came during evening so that is what I watched.
My then girlfriendās entire family are city fans. Made it an effort to get into soccer after finding it boring for my entire life, as a baseball player.
They immigrated from England to the US, so I felt like I needed something to connect with them on, which turned out to be going to their house on Saturday and Sunday mornings to watch the games.
The Amazon Prime show that followed City for a year is what made me understand the team and the sport more than could have at the time.
Married for 4 years now, and her dad and I bond over City and golfing together. Couldnāt ask for a better relationship with him.

mundane but we got canal+ in 2011 and I just got hooked on, not much behind it lol
Nothing glamorous, but started around 09-10 when I was still playing football and everyone around me were Utd, Liverpool or Arsenal fans and somehow I just ended up choosing City.
Silva was already one of my favourites before he signed, and when he did it really took off. We got the tv package with my dad to watch the Prem, Iād like to say, in like 2010-2011 so from there it just grew and I started getting involved in the online City community.
