It must be encouraging for a young Cobham CB to see the state of our defence these days. If you’re half decent, you’ll break into that first 11 soon enough.
With Cobham seemingly producing a reliable CB once every 2-4 years we should no longer be buying prospect CBs and exclusively spend on the finished article. Squad CBs can and should come from the academy
Good defenders in general recent years, all varying degrees. Reece, Guehi, Tomori, Maatsen, Hall, Colwill (meh…)etc

I know there’s always a lot of talk around attackers and midfielders from Cobham, but in my experience it’s always some defender that we hear little of, that breaks into the first team
