what if rashford gets injured,,,,,,,,what if kane gets injured??? ……souness is either drunk or ill
When Man Utd were 6th in worse conditions, Liverpool fans were trolling, but when they are in 10th, they make infinite excuses like injuries, “watch us next season” and bring up the past
here's hoping if we can start scoring goals Newcastle can get there
LiVARpool wont make top 4 dont be sillt
Who says arithmetic these days? 🥸
Dismissive of a team that’s only lost twice all season… still got a good shout
April will see Liverpool off. City away then Arsenal, Leeds away, they should beat Forest and West Ham then they have Spurs.
Cmon u spurs🎉❤❤❤
He’s such a dinosaur get him off
So nice to hear Arsenal and Man U not in these conversations anymore
What happens if Saka gets injured or Haaland or Kane, Graeme?
Why is Liverpool in this talk but Brighton and Fulham aren’t?
Spurs
Love how Spurs have a great chance purely based on Harry Kane, but at United it's considered a weakness to have one guy who is probably the most in form forward in world football. "One injury to Rashford and where would United be?" Probably in a better position to Spurs if they had one injury to Harry Kane Graeme 🤦♂️😂
I think Newcastle will drop out of it it’ll be Arsenal, city, us (united) and Liverpool
Newcastle fan here id be amazed if we finished top 4 now and to be honest its prob a bit soon for us our squad isnt strong enough to deal with win the cup and top 6 and id be more than delighted
I don’t why Sky don’t mention Brighton and Fulham even though they’re both above Liverpool 😂
I would imagine that Newcastle will take fourth spot….Unless Arsenal and Man City Mrs up Man Utd can’t get 1st or 2nd but they should end 3rd. It’s a toss up for me between NEWCASTLE and Tottenham regards 4th
So Spurs have a great chance cos Harry Kane gets goals but United are in trouble because…Rashford gets goals and is at risk of injury.
Hartland has as much of a goal share, as does Kane for their respective teams as Rashford does. What is Souness so fixated on him only?
Liverpool to finish in top four.
On what basis will Liverpool be more consistent this season? Spurs bumps get magnified and yet Jimmy FH says Liverpool will be more consistent even though they’ve had some awful bumps this season.
When Spurs play with freedom, they look such a strong side. Fair play to Cristian Stellini, getting 3 wins out of the 3 he's managed. 👌🏼
Liverpool will make top four not Newcastle or Spurs. It'll be Liverpool. Slowly, all their players are coming back from injury and they'll start winning games and go on a huge run and make top four. They can even afford to lose a couple of games along the way but I'm confident Liverpool will make top four. After what they achieved in 2021, anything is possible for them. I'm so sure they'll make top four that if they don't, I'll be very shocked. Newcastle losing Pope for the next two league games will be a big blow, especially if a couple of their players are injured. Liverpools main problem was the midfield but they've added a young Spaniard in there and he's helping them with their midfield problems that they already had
Souness is an absolute helemt
Liverpool don’t even have a midfield. What’s this dinosaur talking about?
Liverpool will finish 4th..
Let's not disrespect Fulham, Brighton and Brentford who have been absolutely solid this season, refreshing to see teams with limited budgets take it to the likes of Liverpool, City, etc
‘Top four’ 😂 let’s just say fourth can’t see any other teams going above Utd, City and Arsenal at this point.
Robbie Keane LEGEND
Souness is hilarious. Goes from rating Spurs for top 4 because of "one reason and one reason only…Harry Kane's goals" and then goes on to say United are a bit dodgy because they're over reliant on Rashford's goals. "If he's injured…United are in trouble".
With the Conte situation and Bentancur being out, I doubt Kane can carry all that workload imo. The assistant might bring a fresh atmosphere for Spurs though
Well to be fair why not include Fulham brentford and Brighton into the top four conversation because the reality is that this season liverpool and spurs have been so unpredictable and up and down you don't know what's coming next really 🤣 not to mention how rubbish Chelsea are this season so regarding fourth this season it's anyones guess but I do include the teams that have overachieved I mentioned also have a chance for sure I ain't sure why souness is bringing m utd into the conversation tho because they are a shoe In for top four imo and rashford does play for them so what's the point there really somebody please help me with his point there because I don't get it personally 🤣
Just disrespect Fulham, Brighton. Ok
If Liverpool get kicked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid then they will definitely make it to the top 4. They will only have to play in the premier league until the end of the season which is a big advantage.
As a Newcastle fan, I never expected this season we’d be in the running for a top 4 place and I’m not sure we will, I thought maybe 2 years from now, I hoped for top ten and a cup run, job done. We’ve had a great season coming from where we’ve been in the last decade, all those teams around us pushing for top 4 have stronger squads with far greater depth, so I think that will tell in the end, but as I say, it’s an overachievement that we’re even in the running…
Liverpool 😂
Graeme “I’VE PLAYED THE GAME” and know nothing about football Souness
After beating Newcastle twice and beating spurs at their ground I think we have the best chance despite being the furthest however this can only happen if we are consistent and we have to be or it will be hard to get conference or europa. Liverpool is the most experienced team out of the 3 and are the best at dealing with pressure in these circumstances also have the best team and manager we have been in a situation like this recently if we go back to the 20-21 season the Madrid game will tell me if I’m confident that Liverpool can get it and the United one if we can’t get it then spurs will Newcastle just haven’t got the experience yet this was shown with arsenal last season or Leicester in the 20-21 season plus Spurs are looking good right now with Kane scoring consistently and son on the scoresheet against West Ham but Liverpool are getting players back from injury like firmino and van dijk and other key players are in form like trent or Allison and Nunez GAKPO are looking better and salah is doing better the front 3 is linking up well and Bajcetic looking amazing Fabinho just had his best game of the season against Newcastle and hendo looking good again and with Diaz coming back there will be a lot of competition
My opinion 1 city 2 arsenal 3 Liverpool 4 Tottenham 5 utd 6 Newcastle?
As a Liverpool fan, I’d argue Liverpool need a winning streak of 5 games before being taken seriously for 4th again. They are currently on 2 wins against a poor Everton team and Newcastle.
Liverpool have to play all the top teams still, but getting injured forwards and strikers back will definitely help with goals. Liverpool defence still very cagey
Crystal Palace (A)
Wolves (H)
Man United (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Fulham (H)
4 out of next 5 games very winnable for Liverpool, though Wolves and Brighton have been their kryptonite this season.
Tottenham (H) in April will be key fixture for Liverpool, if they are both in touching distance of 4th. Liverpool need to win that
This "who will be in the top four, What is your pointless guess, Do you have a time machine?" nonsense when we could actually have real tactical analysis of setup and play and the triangles and the techniques they are using to try and beat each other.
Now and then we get a tiny bit of analysis of what's happening in a game. The tactics and positional play that's affecting the game. But it's rare. It's usually some bloke who talks a lot saying exactly what you can see yourself on the screen.
The camera is using showing a small group of players, and we cannot see why the guy with the ball won't pass it into an area because the camera isn't showing us that there's another player protecting that area. Either zoom out at the camera when that happens so we can see why they won't pass it or use some sort of computer game colour circles on the side of the screen so we can see that there's players off the screen.
Just like they do in video games.
