  1. Average total value for players in Liga MX clubs are €45 million and for MLS clubs that is €39 million. The average age in Liga MX is higher with 27,3 years vs 25.5 for MLS. I suppose Liga MX is slightly slightly ahead of MLS but that is likely to change in the next few years.

Looking around the world though neither Liga MX or MLS are in the top 20 football leagues in the world.

  2. Of course that the Mexican league is better than ours, we are talking about decades of erm… natural history which includes your normal in that sport great regional and city rivalries which footbal have such a fantastic way to express on the pitch. We did our usual as far as the professional level sports are in consideration, creating a league of untouchables{no relegation hence no real connection to the communities} according to the wishes of the fat cats looking for return of their investments.
Considering how bigger and richer as a country we are someday MLS might get even better as quality but i am not holding my breath.
After all to each their own, i for one preffer watching college sports more than their professional counterparts.

  3. It used to be better but the MLS has surpassed them in Mexico it's become repetitive & not exciting enough as for MLS it's more watchable than Liga MX tells you everything from both leagues as Liga MX is trying to cash in on MLS by wanting to merge with MLS

  4. Only difference is Liga MX has way more money than the MLS and Liga MX teams especially the popular ones can afford to buy quality players. I think MLS developes players better than Liga MX.

  5. The comparisons are retarded. There are no other two countries in the world comparing their leagues other than the US and Mexico. Why don’t you compare the new Canadian league to MLS? Liga MX is almost 100 years old vs the US; only 25 years old. Liga MX is one of the most watched leagues in the world in terms of audience. Very few people watch MLS overall in terms of sports in the US. Not until liga MX brings back relegation, will you see liga MX once again destroy MLS. No relegation in Liga MX right now means complacency. But when it comes back you’ll see the true meaning of Liga MX

  6. Liga mx is king we have promotion relegation and we do it better with style and swag that us wish it had it , until us has promotion relegation and a good attraction of style, swag , culture and can win cups not choke then we talk
