  1. Great to hear what Carl is actually saying, such a true Whyalla ukn boy 😂
Also great to hear the interaction between players and to see Tony Goodwin and his love for his boy ❤
Oh I missed the start of the livestream so had to go back and watch it!
Great footage of Craig’s early years ~ so good to see that!
I knew Craig was a champion the first time I ever saw him play and the lovely Tony got me a pair of signed boots 😎👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

  2. I didn't know Craig's backstory, he went through more than most of us and came out as an absolute pro. What a champion of a person. Side note the next episode i think we all might shed some tears.

  3. Well in Goody. John Walker was our coach at TTG back in the day. A very direct and passionate football fan/ coach/ man. RIP. He'd be proud of the person and player you've become. F**K FEAR. #GOYOUREDS

  4. As good as this story is, some due recognition should be made for some important people who had some part in this remarkable journey, be it big or small. That includes coaches, club affiliates, friends and family. I know that would obviously blow out the length of this great mini doco, but it should be noted.

Side note: any juniors watching this, this shows (just like Arthur Pappas said) that outside influences besides soccer games and training develop great players nearly as much as the physical training and matches do. Just because 1 or 2 coaches said 'no' to you at some point, is not actually a barrier to playing professionally. It is very possible to make it, and you need to make all aspects of your life targetted towards making it professionally. Just keep striving and dont let fear stop you.

  5. im just mirin at the post emo haircut lad was rockin during his early days at heart also he looks exactly like his dad lol
