Idk how Shaw and Maguire are still at my club. A couple of good performances and some lame ass fans start calling them world class.
Rashford(not blaming or hating him for today's performance, only pointing it out when I had the chance) and Bruno are stat padders and aren't disciplined players imo. They will never bring us any major trophies. They'll play for themselves instead of sticking to the structure and tactics.
And above all, Carrick isn't the manager for us. He's a PE teacher just like Ole, not a tactician. It was already obvious in the last few games of last season. He barely seemed to know what tactical changes needed to be made during a game. His lack of ability was on show again in today's game. He doesn't seem to know how to build attacks from the back. The build-up play was poor.
Rashford is also inconsistent, doesn't track back properly, and barely seems to know when or how to press. Btw, I'm not blaming today's result on him. I'm just pointing it out. I genuinely don't understand why so many fans wanted Rashford back. Do they love the club or Rashford? City would've sold players without hesitation if they felt they could bring in better, more disciplined players.
My prediction: Carrick gets sacked by December.

With age, players lose speed. Shaw has shown during pre season that he is a bit past it. Re watch the last pre season game and you'll see what I mean. He needs to go to the Italian league or MLS where it is slower.
