Anybody having serious doubts about McInness? Am getting davie moyes when he went to man u vibes aff him. Hes a good manager upto a level but this is beyond him.

Rangers need a manager with a distinct style of play that makes average players look good and good players look amazing. Mcinness ball isny gonnae dae that.

Starting to wish we didny chase Rohl oot the club. He at least would have been ruthless this transfer window. He knew what we lacked and who to get shot of. McInness is now gonnae spend months thinking Diomande etc are gonna spark into life when the reality is they have long chucked it and only see rangers as a wage and are probably running down their over inflated contracts.

This season is gonna be another disaster.

Our biggest failure over the last few years has been added pressure to managers, fanbase need to get behind the dugout and actually give them a chance instead of shooting them down after a handful of games.

    2. I think you can fairly criticise him if we’re a few weeks on, we sign some good wide players and we’re still seeing the lineup issues, odd subs and tactical problems of the first few games. But that’s a while off.

      >distinct style of play that makes players look better

I feel like a man to man, aggressive 4-4-2 is actually pretty good for this exact thing. Bielsa did something very similar at Leeds several years back.

      >Rohl would’ve been ruthless

Rohl was fairly clearly utterly out of his depth and constantly had to make subs at half time because the lineup was so wrong, so often.

      >McInnes thinks Diomande is going to spark into life

McInnes has said some variant of “we need to sign in wide areas” about fifty times in the last month. He doesn’t *want* to be playing Diomande out there on the right, or Aasgaard on the left.

You can sack McInnes tomorrow and the next guy will be gone by November, with the current squad. It’s unbalanced and lacks quality in key positions, as well as depth in others.

Fuck sake. We are truly the worst fans that have ever been at this stage. Two games lads. Two games.

And if Rohl had had the same start you would be posting this utter pish about him and saying “we shoulda got a gud Ranjurs man lik Del by ea way”

    4. Here we go… let’s blame the manager again for shit recruitment… it’s two games ffs Gerrard got three seasons and multiple transfer windows to deliver us a title..

    5. We should have kept Clement. With the 49ers backing would have been infinitely better. Europe is going to be absolute terror ball under McInnes. Not that it will last long. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. Ross McCrorie should be enough to tell you that. He’ll be gone before Halloween.

2 games in and we haven’t looked good at all but at the same time it’s only 2 games in. This wanting managers gone so early will only lead to us going further behind Celtic.

I personally wish we gave Rohl a full season but I’m willing to give McInnes time. Can’t take the cycle of a sacking then a new managerial appointment that gets a bounce of momentum before plummeting, resulting in fans coming for his head and we’re back to square one.

Still early doors but anything but a win tomorrow needs to be a serious wake up call for the players and the gaffer

he’s clearly out of his depth. We’ve went through the same cycle for over a decade. I know he wouldn’t last long when he’s buying and starting dross like Devlin and McCrorrie. Obviously we can’t sack him straight away, maybe he’ll last til christmas but i doubt it. This is as bad i’ve seen us since the first couple of seasons back up.
