An ESL isn’t actually as a bad as is being made out. The basic concept is no different to how the Premier League was created out of the Football League 30 years ago and that didn’t destroy the game (as claimed at the time).
The benefit would be Uefa and FIFA are the 2 most corrupt organisation in world sport and taking away their ability to corrupt the game can only be a good thing. The problem with the ESL is that the original proposal was very well thought out but ultimately, stopping corrupt official at Uefa exploiting fans of the game is something we should all want
The Glazers and FSG wouldn't be selling if there was any chance of the Super League.
The three teams mentioned are in dire straits financially. It makes sense for them but not for anyone else.

Wait wait Wait how many games do English clubs play in the EL and CL? If They arrive in the semi, They already play at least 12 games.
Super League is 14 games minimum. It will not replace national leagues, it will replace european competitions.
PL owners cannot say no to unlimited revenues.
Dont forget sky is fighting for its tv rights
Juventus always run by trustworthy people & Barcelona & Madrid financially really well run and don't get in huge debt so I would imagine their plan is a good one!!!

This is shameful, We need to modernise football the European super league is clearly the future, the premier league is definitely not the best league in the world it’s behind la liga and the German one
I think regardless of your club, we’re all pretty against the super league. There is really nothing wrong with the current format of the champions league, if we let EVERYBODY into a “super league” or “expanded” champions league it’d just be so boring. This is really going to just be top 4 clubs playing each other every week while smaller clubs will be struggling for cash. It’s just not right.

Mark Goldbridge posted up a video rant about this earlier and hit the nail on the head. It's about greed and jealousy on the part of the owners of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus. The Premier League more fairly distributes the money and the end result has been a more competitive and popular league. In all the other leagues across Europe the money is heavily concentrated towards the bigger clubs… if they want to compete with the Prem, then be fairer on the smaller clubs in those countries but that just doesn't benefit Real, Barca and Juve.
I wish all the clubs involved in this nothing but failure and hardship with their financial issues.
I'd rather watch juve vs Chelsea over Chelsea vs wolves/everton/Forest.

How is it possible for prem teams to be denied participation in the super league based on a rule that says you can't? I mean, wouldn't that just mean prem teams could leave the EPL and join the super league? How would you stop them from deciding we are not going to play in the prem anymore?

I would say if super league replace champions league i would be support it. I don't see the entertainment in CL group stage when your team match against shaktar donetsk, molde, or something that the big teams using their second team to play. In this stage the sports became an industry, there's no changed between CL and super league. Big teams always have much money even you're not playing at CL. Like arsenal and MU

The PL should stay how it is. Its the best structured league on all levels.
However that being said La Liga Seria A are falling behind every tv right deal and every sponsor deal PL clubs sign also brings in multi billionaire investors ect. The UK is not part of the EU. So the other leagues have to do something otherwise the CL and EL will and kind of already has become a snore/bore fest. Only RM and Bayern can compete financially with the PL and PSG. Its that simple.
I believe it has to be done when Crystal Palace and 15 other teams in the PL are generating more revenue than Villarreal and not even being EL champ and got to a semi final of the CL is mind blowing. The difference in transfer and wage budgets to the rest of Europe is staggering and well totally one sided bar exception of PSG ofcourse.
La Liga and Seria A and Portuguese leagues should merge their leagues into one and whomever else wants to join so be it. But i think they could pull off a very a good league! CL champs like RM Barça Juve AC Milan Inter Porto Benfica and EL champs like Sevilla Atletico Valencia Napoli ect. It will create certainly bigger tv rights and bigger sponsorship deals and the competition would be very intense. So be it if they get kicked out of UEFA but its impossible to compete with the money of PL and PSG on CL and EL level anyway! So why not make something for themselves where is more financially balanced.
Pro Ev Master League has alot to answer for. These clubs should have the book thrown at them, the 3 clubs have remained Juve, Barca and Real have financially ruined themselves but are looking for a bail out with this competition.
End of the day…if real Madrid , juve etc..all wanna join!! Then let them…other teams will eventually take their place….
There will be a superleague with English clubs. Don't kid yourselves SKY!! the foreign owners, particularly the American owners will want to be included.
Don't look the other way you became the best league because of the rich like chelsea the new city that force liverpool to buy or invest more same with Tottenham but the minute they decide to sell and buy italians club forget it
