Two changes from last week, with Heaton in for Vitek and Amad for Zirkzee.

My hot take is that Amad and Lacey both starting kinda confirms a JJ cameo in the 2nd half.
So we have a lot of left footed attackers … dont think I’ve ever seen a team with 4 attacking left footers before

I am much more excited for this friendly than I was for the first two. This will be a good test to see how well they can play against a team that they will probably get drawn against in the Champions League this season. I know neither team will be anywhere near full strength but it will still be good practice.
Yoro right back again, it’s an interesting experiment. He’s got great mobility and ability on the ball, great defender too. But he does lack pace, wouldn’t be the kind of right back to bomb up and down.
That’s fine and can definitely work, it’s worked really well for other teams having a player of that profile at full back, but it needs to be balanced by having a strong attacking full-back on the other side who can get up and down all game. Shaw isn’t that anymore. However, Hall… he’d be ideal for a role like that.
Lacey is finding a way to get into the first team even with Mbeumo and Amad playing. Thats good for him.
Obviously with Cunha, Bruno, Sesko all back he will go to second team but its becoming clear that he is a main squad player now.

I would actually like to see Amad in the 10 spot and Lacey wide right, but suspect it’s the other way round.
I feel like Amad might ultimately be better centrally, but I’ve not seen it enough. I feel like he comes to feet too often when he’s out wide
