Hello and welcome back to Continental Club where today we are analysing how to SAVE Milan’s season.
With Pioli’s side under immense pressure having lost 3 League games in a row, dropping them to 6th, we ask how can the Rossoneri rectify their failing form. Rafa Leao’s contract situation rumbles on, Mike Maignan’s injury continues to cost them points and their big name summer signings like Divock Origi and Charles De Ketelaere are struggling to make the desired impact.
Is Stefano Pioli’s job under pressure? And if so who should be brought in to replace him? Would Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino or Luis Enrique be interested in joining the 7 time European Champions?

Sack pioli
the morale is soooo low. it's tough to see boyhood fans come players like Tonali and Calabria struggling and looking absolutely devastated.
also, kessie left huge boots to fill. he was what casemiro is to united right now
Issues at Milan are really this
-Change of ownership in the summer delayed structural continuity and business in the summer
-Small summer budget didn’t allow us to strengthen and actually made us weaker
-Injury to Maignan and other key players exposed our over-reliance on certain players
-Pioli’s management now being in scrutiny as it is clear he isn’t a tactical or adaptive coach.
Forza Milan. RedbirdOut
Would you sack Pioli or does he deserve more time?!
(Dougie)
Let’s be honest, is Pioli the problem? Or is this just the level of the squad. Being honest, who are the outstanding players? Theo, Leao, and Bennacer only. Yes they won Serie A last season, but like everyone says, they over performed and needed to invest to consolidate. They didn’t, and now they’re falling to fans expecting more of the same, when they were never really amazing
IMO Pioli is way too stubborn, he’s alienating the new arrivals, especially Adli and CDK, he’s done a horrible job integrating them. Malick Thiaw should obviously be above Gabbia in the pecking order for CBs.
Thomas Tuchel is highly unlikely to take the job, German managers do not coach in Serie A, only two ever have
Stop trying to make Poch a thing.
I think Pep might be a manager that COULD go to Milan after the recent 100 regulation breaks that city have been alleged to have committed
Feel like pioli just wants to get sack at this point .I guess this is as far as he can go ,he thinks .
– You know
– You know
– You know?
– You know!
Tbh most ac Milan fans would agree we only won the title because inter pulled Tottenham behaviour, pioli has no champions league experience, disappointed so much in our campaigns, he’s decent but he’s not going to get us to be competitive into the champions league, Hope Liverpool sack klopp so we get him, but let’s see if new owners are willing to invest
Very interesting
I'd rule out any foreign coach or at least one without Serie A experience, as much as I'd like one. It's just not what Milan does. There's no chance they're investing heavily in the summer either.
It’s time for Pioli to say goodbye. He completely gave up against Inter and it was embarrassing. This team is not built to play 352 and 433 would have been a better solution. Management recruitment was pure garbage. Milan need a good sporting director like Giuntoli. Replace Pioli with Abate until the end of the season and then in the summer sign Matthias Jaissle from Salzburg.
I think Pioli is a decent manager but he reminds me of Ranieri, capable of having an amazing season but doesnt change his tactics when teams study and figure out how to stop the way they play.
Going into the game against inter without Leao on the pitch and the change of system made little sense, he bottled it big time very disappointing time for Milan
Great content as ever lads! Poch in this summer would be a great fit for Milan. What's your opinion on Doku & could he do a job in Serie A, little bit more space for a less physical player??
The change of ownership ruined our summer. Forza Milan. We need to clear the deadwood in the summer would be best to change Pioli in the summer he is not the manager to take us to the next step.
Pioli is doing what Pioli does, this is what we've seen all too many times before. Tatarasanu has been a massive mistake for the past 2 seasons, fair play to Mister Pioli, but he's run his course
Luis Enrique on the market makes a lot of sense to me. If he’s willing to sign then I would sack Pioli
