this really shouldnt be a discussion. An out of prime Busquets made Rodri play CB for Enrique, the best coach in the world right now. There was a reason for that. Also Rodri has never had the longevity Busquets did. Take Busquets out of those prime barca teams and they wouldnt accomplish anything, He was just as important for us as Xavi and Iniesta. And the ballon dor argument is stupid. Busquets played in arguably the best era ever in terms of attackers, he was never winning it, and neither would Rodri if he played at that time. Busquets also clears him when it comes to trophies.

Cams I get what your saying but Rodri being more of a “match winner” than busquets is more so because busquets played around stupidly top quality players don’t you think? If you reversed the roles and had prime busquets in these teams and prime Rodri in those teams don’t you think busquets skill set shows a lot more and Rodri’s blends in on the other end ?
