And the thing that confuses me is, what I can remember, he didn’t really ever play dirty for us? Yes he played hard and was great at picking up cards but I can’t ever remember him being a streaight up dick in any game. To my eyes he changes personality the moment he puts on the Argentinian kit.

When everyone says your the best, that you are gifted free kicks and penalties and that none of your fouls are whistled, it starts getting to your head. You start thinking you are the GOAT or something.
Then when reality kicks in a little, when the game is just 70% rigged and not 100%, because let’s face it Paredes should have been sent off much earlier and that 1st Spain goal was completely valid, you act like a cry baby because you were so used to everything being handed to you

I stil remember a CL match vs City during the pandemic where Di Maria and Neymar showed absolutely disgusting behaviour.
Glad that the new approach with a solid team under Enrique shows better sportsmanship. Then again you guys didnt lose a lot in the past 2 years.
