I don't understand what he's talking about. England were about to get to the world cup final and then the red carpet is laid out for Argentina because we are too cowardly to go and win the game. There needs to be a serious inquest into that performance. It was so shockingly bad it makes me think there was something else at play.

They were completely exhausted; even if they had made offensive substitutions, they would have lost the game.
