      When Messi crossed the ball there was 7 defenders in the box and 2 trying to stop the cross, why was Lautaro Martinez unmarked in the box. This is real question, TUCHEL WASN’T ON THE PITCH, Why didn’t they even try to foul the opposition to break up play at 1-1, “IF THE MANAGER DOESN’T WANT TO WIN, THE PLAYERS SHOULD WANT IT FOR THEMSELVES.”

      4:38 it's not after the fact. The issue is that Tuchel did exactly the opposite of what fans were screaming at the telly.

      I don't like it when other managers say things like 'it's not easy' etc. etc.

      Everyone who's kicked a ball in their life knows:

      a) you don't give Messi (and Argentina) shooting practice (through defensive / hold on substituons), or
      b) Argentina are not Mexico what works against Mexico is of no relevance against Argentina

      8:34 Kane came into that tournament injured, Jimmy is 100% wrong about Kane.

      Yet again, Simon seems to understand the game much better than the presenter or the ex footballer. Weird.

      If these were actual debates, Simon would win every one.

      It seems many ex footballers must have been doing things by instinct, because they simply don't understand the game as well as they think they do.

      Listening to JFH is like watching paint dry. Goodness.

      Tuchel proved that he was no different than Southgate. When it was time to be brave, he was a coward. No different than Arteta in the Champions League Final. No different than many other English and non-English managers that "navigate" through a game instead of playing to win.

      Imagine being hurt by a player saying he's having a better time in one camp than a previous one. It's HIS experience & HIS opinion. Good God, this is where we're at. People are too sensitive. Anyone would think he called JFH a clown. If he doesn't know what Bellingham meant why is he hurt by it? Is it hard to believe this camp might be much better than the last camp for him as more of his friends are there? It's not rocket science! Bellingham can't even have an opinion without someone getting upset!!

      Jude just said that to stay positive. If he said "Oh last time we had a perfect camp" then there would no room for improvoment. Every tounament this tournament will be apparently better than the last one. It's just a way to boost confidence.

      When Palmer equalised, if my memory serves me well , only shaw ran jubilantly to celebrate with him , that spoke volumes on the togetherness of that camp , it's clear that they had a disliking amongst themselves

      Jimmy, great comments. Simon lives in the world of the newspapers from years ago. Ultra critical on occasions. We have the same England problems no matter who the manager is. The premier league does not produce the type of player to win England anything. It's a business the pl. Kick and rush. It's all about the running.

      Southgate won every game he should have won, and lost games against teams that were either on par or better. He’s no different that Tuchel, Sven or any other England manager in the last 30 years

      Argentinian players played barbarically and English players played politely. Argentinian players are emotionally connected to the game, English players are mentally connected. That’s also the difference. Emotional preparedness is what will allow change in tactics and surprises in the game. You can only surprise others by surprising yourself and to do that one needs to be emotional. You saw it with Argentina from the singing of their anthem. They were fully emotional even before the game started.
      Who do you think will win in that scenario! Plus, FIFA, is always on their side. They want a dramatic play, that’s what brings money in. It’s so unfair how they get away with so much. They were punching, hitting the English players even before the English players retreated and gave up. It’s always Messi for FIFA. He’s the money maker. Go Spain 🇪🇸 🙏
      As an acting 🎭 coach even in acting you got to leave it all on the stage to never give up on your goal to win. Why would it not be the same in football ⚽️?! The English were too polite, politeness never gets you to your goal on any stage. Not in acting 🎭 not in football ⚽️ I don’t understand how the coach did not know that. We know it in acting.       They're simply not good enough. They've maxed out. England have never had world beaters the likes of Zidane, R9+R10+R11,Messi, Xavi+Iniesta, Ozil+Kroos, the list goes on. Name ONE England player with that amount of skill level. You just can't.. Can't keep blaming the manager. It's the talent that's the issue.

      Spain France and the South Americans are not bred to win at all costs, they learn to play football from an early age, and if you lose the ball it’s not the end of the world. Look at the arsenal prem win, forumlaic, england are the same

      Tuchel is very overrated. There is not a single match, both in qualification and the tournament itself has Tuchel actually shown his prowess. Every single game England have played has been poor to hard work and he has been saved by Jude and Kane to a lesser extent every single time. Without Jude England would not have qualified let alone get to the semis. So what good is Tuchel?
