I missed the birth of my first child through circumstances beyond my control. To say it’s a cause of inconsolable trauma is an understatement to the extreme. Given the choice who wouldn’t want to witness the birth of their first born. It’s was for the Belgium FA to approve or deny his request and they ruled in favour of the welfare of the player that would impact his future commitment to the national team. That’s a green tick for both parties involved. There’s nothing else to see except for those seeking controversy to promote themselves.
