Luis de la Fuente, manager of Spain's nacional football team, urged people not to compare Lamine Yamal to Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona or “anyone”, but did compare him to Salvador Dalí and Michelangelo – “geniuses” for whom the exceptional comes naturally.

Comparing him to painters when Picasso was literally also Spanish feels like a missed opportunity from De la Fuente.
This all feels a bit over the top.
