  1. Can anyone explain how someone as uncoordinated as Tillio could get selected for a World Cup squad based on his involvement in the first minute

  2. Kinda funny how so many cant bring themselves to mention that Juande had a broken leg, as if people are going to be somehow "traumatised" by it lol. Sure it sucks for United and Juande himself, but the commentators continually using the terms like "distressing" and "the players will be mentally affected by this", you know things have become ridiciously bubble wrapped.

  3. Also, Zappa should be bloody ashamed of his comments, whining that a 13min wait for an ambulance for a broken leg is "wrong". How insanely entitled does one have to be, to believe that ambos should make it there in record time. In this day and age, 13mins for a broken leg is record time, whereas the general public are fortunate for paramedics to rock up to cardiac and respitory incidents in 13mins. Poor form Zappa.

  4. Lastly, after seeing some of the "fan's" comments over FB and twitter, its painfully clear how short sighted and/or hypocritical many people are. You cant seriously piss and moan about the lack of medical staff and state of medical care in this country, whilst simultaneously demanding that ambo attendance be mandatory at every game. Again, that is a very over entitled mindset. Medical intervention requiring hospital transfer is not even deemed rare, it is deemed "very rare" at sporting events such as this. Considering the lack of medical staffing in every state, having some paramedics and docs sitting around twiddling their thumbs for 90mins is a very poor use of medical resources which are better spent serving the community. At best, they should be on call for sporting events, but it was agreed that qualified physicians are on site at games in case theyre needed. Anyone continuing to complain after understanding all of the circumstances at play, should have a really hard look at themselves and drop the entitlement act.
