(Off-season vibes, just saw the home-made Pong table)
I’m a rekindled Villa-fan from Sweden that got back into club football as this season started thanks to my oldest football-pilled son. I questioned my timing at the start but WOW what an amazing season this turned out to be!
Since getting back I’ve felt a strong urge to visibly identify with the club, but I’m not fully comfortable going all-in football fan. I’ve got a small pin on my bag, a keychain on my car keys (which led to a great chat with another random Villa fan) and some sports gear.
But I wanted something more personal that I could wear casually, without it looking too much like fan gear. So I tried designing something myself.
I skipped the obvious crest and went for the fabled gas lamp instead, with AVFC and 1874 so it would still, to some degree, be our gas lamp.
Anyone else feel the same, wanting something that says Villa, but doesn’t shout football fan? Would love to see any subtle Villa pieces or symbols you use.

Just an idea – what if you turned the flame in the gas lamp into the lion from the crest? Or would that remove too much of the subtlety?
