  1. Pep was obviously warned that this was going to happen and made himself available.

Got to be honest the list of managers out of work or that would be remote within our finances or interested is depressing.

If he goes (and I think its still a a big if) when I don’t want Gerrard back anywhere near the club, show’s a total lack of ambition and would be an incredibly lazy appointment of someone who has looked shocking as a manager since leaving Rangers.

DR running with the “usual” list of Gerrard, Mcinnes, Muscat, Solskjaer with Rosenior thrown in too, jesus wept

Is he definitely leaving I heard no official approach had been made it was just speculation

  5. We’re destined to win fuck all for the foreseeable repeating this same shite every year

Quite obvious we should be hunting down McInnes. Regardless, massive step in the right direction if Danny leaves now rather than getting sacked in October.

I do think at Rangers and Celtic you need a ‘figurehead’ in the dugout as much as you do a studious and tactical coach. Someone that gets the club, the pressure cooker of the city, the constant expectation and standards and commands a respect in the dressing room. You obviously still need a bit about you as a coach but I do think we have missed a ‘winner/leader’ in the dugout for a while and someone that doesn’t accept the club sleepwalking to 2nd best or take any shit. Gerrard in that regard would tick a lot of boxes, as would McInnes or Muscat. I wouldn’t be particularly disappointed with any of them, predictable a shortlist as it is.

  8. It’s not a done deal yet but I’ll be honest it might tempt someone like Danny. The RB setup seems good and he may get a chance of a move to Germany if he succeeds. I don’t think he’s fallen in love with the club that it would be a wrench to leave.

Tough decision as he can go for it here, try to win trophies, and if he does that he’ll be a legend and then he’ll fall in love with the club and the fans. On the other hand if he does stay he’ll know that he’ll need to hit the ground running – if we were to be a good bit behind come the end of the year then he’ll probably be regretting an opportunity that may not arise again.

I’d like him to stay and see how he gets on tbh, but if he leaves it has to be McInnes

  10. Not too fussed either way, but will make a nice change someone paying us money fo a manager.
