Now he’ll either have to try forcing a move or it’s on to Tonali

  2. they want the amount outright I suppose, I think we can just let this offer sit it’s reasonable I hope we do—-and they’ll take

  3. Well that sucks. I don’t want United to have him and I don’t really like Tonali but guess we might not have a choice soon.

This is what happens when you let the most important position rot away for three years.

I mean what’s stopping newcastle from bending us over a barrel and demanding the same shit.

    Ok, what the actual fuck????

I rate him very highly, but this is outrageous

This gives me Kane vibes, a deal that never happened as much as the player and we wanted it.

I was really hoping they’d get relegated so we could avoid shit like this

All down to the wording of the ‘add-ons’ I suppose.

As I understand it, it’s £106m guaranteed, plus £15m ‘depending on x, y, z’. If the big fella doesn’t think we will achieve the ‘x, y, z’ conditions, he’s looking at £15m potentially going down the drain.

Offer the man £121m up front. He’ll take our hands off. Anderson is worth it.

If you see, against big clubs Tonali has struggled a lot this season, so we need to keep that in mind, that we buy a guy who helps us in UCL too next year

Walk away, they can keep him, still get relegated and we’ll get him for a quarter of that price next summer

That’s too high of a bid to begin with and I’m almost Happy they rejected it

That’s the price of a midfielder who has won multiple trophies

I’d understand if we were paying that much for Vitinha

  11. Whats crazy to me is that, not only did we offer 121m, it’s the fact that they rejected it meaning they’re hoping for more? Are they even trying to sell him atp

Walk away. British record fee always puts enormous pressure on the player and most cases the players fucks up.

Scout players in other leagues. 120 million+bonuses is outrageous.

Or hold the same offer. Forest need to sell to make room for FFP without Europe. Acting tough for two seasons will put them in lots of trouble. We can get Anderson after that at the same price.

  13. As highly as I do rate him, this is a little crazy, I thought this would’ve got the deal done.
