What percentage of votes in favor will Florentino need in that referendum? **The club's statutes state the following**: "Taking into account the aims pursued by Real Madrid Football Club and its legal nature, its transformation, merger or dissolution will only proceed when so agreed by an absolute majority of the members entitled to vote in a referendum called for that purpose by the Extraordinary General Assembly."

It's up to Florentino Pérez to explain, in great detail, how he intends to sell a portion of Real Madrid. And it's up to the members, once again, to have the final say on its fate.

Worst scenario is an American buying and team going to shambles like Chelsea

  4. Another clickbait article by Marca, you all are very gullible. Perez isn’t “selling the club.” He’s planning to sell a small portion while allowing the socio’s to remain in control. Regardless, the socios still would have to vote on it and based on the surprisingly good turnout in favor of riquelme I doubt this happens.
