What a great read, love stuff like this. So much more to players than what we see on the pitch.

  2. A really good article to be honest.

I’m not sure what part is ‘the crazy story’ unless it’s the car crash.

His story about his daughter was sad.

I guess Ronaldo forgot how to not be pissed off after 3 hours, which is a shame.

    Wow- great read.

The Jota factor seems to be quite the motivation for the Portugese team, hoping Bruno and Diogo can win it (as a neutral) this year.

What a lovely article. I know it’s pure PR but he absolutely loves this club

It’s been a while since I’ve read a Players Tribune piece so I don’t know if they’re all like this but it’s nice that it doesn’t seem obviously ghostwritten, really seems like Dalot’s voice in this

The whole thing he says about trying too hard is exactly how I feel when I watch him. He runs around so much and will sometimes be the furthest forward, then he’ll be the deepest player and then he’ll misplace a simple pass of about 10m. He just needs more focus on those simple things, he doesn’t need to be the one breaking the opponents offside trap if he’s giving the ball away just outside our box the next passage of play. He’s clearly a good player but the simple things he does wrong drive people crazy.

Hey, it’s a former, a current and a future United players all in one picture

  8. > Around this time, my parents wanted me to attend a famous music school. I did an entry exam where you had to get 90 out of a 100 right.
    Question: What animal says Meowwwwwww?
    My answer: dog
    Question: What instrument is this?
    *Drums play*
    Answer: guitar
    FINAL SCORE: 3/100
    I only wanted football.

The way it’s put is hilarious

  9. Really enjoyed reading this. I’ve been critical of him as a player, probably as much out of frustration that he could probably be better with slight tweaks, so it’s nice to be reminded there’s a real person out there. Not flashy, often frustrating, but no doubt he does care and makes the effort.

  10. Great read. I know he can make some poor mistakes, and he gets a lot of criticism, but I think it can be too much at times. Every player makes mistakes, but not every player works as hard as Dalot does. Not every player has the drive and determination, and attitude that Dalot has. If / when we eventually upgrade the RB position, he is still going to be a very valuable squad player who will be ready to go when called upon.

  11. Such a nice read, can feel the emotion behind the words for each part of the different stories.

    >If that’s winning the FA Cup at United, imagine winning the Premier League. Imagine winning the Champions League.

    >I think about that every single day.

    ❤️

Diogo gets alot of shit, but he is aging like fine wine.

His peak is yet to come. He is slowly becoming one of the best fullbacks in England.

    Love this.

And it just reflects what we’ve seen on the pitch for years now, which is that you can never doubt his attitude, commitment, and work ethic.

I hope he gets to achieve things with us.

  15. I could never hate player like Diogo cause you can see the effort that they put in and that they care. Sure he has his brain farts but he always gives it his all.

Reading this sub would make you believe that Dalot is a bum; some wackos even think that the guy is championship level. He will be the biggest example of not realizing how good you have it until he leaves. Genuinely starter level for the likes of Madrid or Bayern Munich with his attitude, availability, physical prowess, and linkup play.

  17. Dalot is a great talent to have in a squad. He isn’t the best in his position, but will almost guarantee a 7/10 everytime he plays
