Pogba: “I think [Carrick]’s doing a great job [..] He’s a great guy, has experience, was a great player. He has a very good connection with the players, you could see it when he took the team. I think it’s going to be good for Utd. I wish them the best obviously, for him & all the staff & players.”

  1. To me, pogba has always been an incredible talent. The things he can do when running a game, it’s always a sight to behold.

Good to see that Pogba’s still positive about United despite how his time here ended

Who would’ve thought that Pogba would be more supportive of our recent progress than Scholes, Keane, Neville…

Appreciate the words. He left in such a bitter way and sadly had potential to be a United great but only showed his class a handful of times.

  5. He had potential lile very few other, so physically strong, so technically gifted, just did not have the mentality.

Hate Pogba for his blue hair at the citymatch (why always me vibes/welcome to manchester vibes).

But he made a choice with who he had around him (and that fat agent). That for me, is why I wish him evry bad thing in life.

  7. Feel like Pogba is a man more sinned against than sinning. Unlucky with injuries. Unlucky with family. Unlucky with the people in his life. Just wish we’d seen more days of him at his best.

  8. Or Pogba just needed a “people” manager like what Ancelotti or Zidane did at Madrid. We will never know.

Interestingly Pogba knows Carrick both as a teammate and assistant manager. He played with him as youth team player under Alex Ferguson a few times, and then during Carrick’s last two seasons they played plenty together. And obviously later on as part of the staff he also worked with him. He is more qualified to talk about him than any other ex-United player probably.
