I was reading a post last night where a fellow Villa fan had ordered a winner's medal and frame to create his own display at home featuring a photo of the trophy lift.
it got me wondering what other ways Villa fans are preserving memories of what is undoutedly one of the greatest moments in our clubs history and something that will be talked about for decades to come.
From the moment I got home after the victory parade took over Birmingham on 21st May, Ive been working on a small project for my Dad and brother, who unfortunately couldn't make it to the celebrations along with so many other Villa supporters.
When John McGinn lifted the trophy outside Birmingham Library, one of the confetti cannons fired almost directly into a nearby tree. After the crowds had moved on, I recovered a small amount of the confetti that had become trapped in the branches and had never touched the ground. It felt like a little piece of Villa history worth preserving.
I've spent the last two weeks designing a commemorative coin/medallion in my workshop here in Birmingham (my mother’s garden shed I took over with a casting machine and melting pot)
The photos show the final artwork, the photo-etched magnesium plate that will be used to create the mould, and a rendering of how the finished piece will look cast in lead-free English pewter. The centre chamber will contain a piece of the original parade confetti.
I'm also considering adding a strong magnet to the reverse so it could be displayed on a fridge, toolbox, filing cabinet, computer case or anywhere else a Villa fan might want a daily reminder of that incredible day.
Before I make the mould tonight, I'd genuinely love some feedback from fellow Villans.
How would you display something like this?
Any ideas for presentation, framing or display would be greatly appreciated. I only recovered a limited amount of confetti but would be able to cast extras beyond the gifts for my family should you have your own idea for this coin.

I think this is lovely. I’m not sure how you’d display it, magnet makes sense. My first thought was a little display case but it’d be overengineered at that point since it is _already_ a display case in itself.
