My son met him at Stamford Bridge in 2023. He talked to him for ages about how to improve his playing. Lovely gentleman.

The reason my family are Chelsea fans, my old man saw him on the back of a newspaper in in 1966, and the rest is history. RIP Legend.

Damn this sucks. I was lucky enough to run into him in a pub near Stamford bridge in 2014. We ended up chatting and he joined our group for 5 or 6 hours. It was a great evening.
A truly lovely person who had endless time for the fans.
He will never be forgotten.

As someone who has been following Chelsea since around 2015/16, this write up was a great read. I am not too familiar with our Grates so to have something like this serve as an introduction was nice.
