I feel many supporters are overlooking what Edon Zhegrova can offer. Judging him solely by his statistics ignores the context of his season. With only around 500 minutes played, mostly in brief substitute appearances, he was never given the continuity needed to establish rhythm or build understanding with those around him.

Yet whenever he takes the field, his qualities are evident. His creativity, flair, and ability to unsettle defenders provide a dimension our attack often lacks, particularly against compact, low-block defenses.

Discarding a player of his profile after such limited opportunities seems premature. Rather than moving him on, the club should retain him and give him a genuine chance to prove his value over a sustained run of matches.

People call him a “Low-IQ” player but didn’t mention anything when players like Koopmeiners, Jonathan David, Openda were starting, the hate he has gotten is unreal, especially after that miss against Gala in the UCL, that game his 2 crosses led to 2 goals , many times this season he has come on and impacted the game, it’s obvious and clear that Luciano Spalletti doesn’t trust him.

26/27 Zhegrova’s redemption arc 🔜.

    Like hell we didn’t.

Alla Juve non puoi pensare di avere una stagione di adattamento. Ha fatto vedere solo qualche finta, tra l’altro inutile.

  3. I really liked the signing at the time but I just don’t think he’s the type of player that Spalletti needs. He offers little to nothing defensively, low work rate, and injury prone. It’d be best to move on from him now while he has value unless we want to end up with a Koopmeiners situation

We cannot return to glory with mediocre players. Zhegrova is an okay player but the name Juventus is too heavy for his shoulders.

He is not Juve material. The squad needs to be purged. He go back to a mid club in Germany or something.

I’m one of those who think his bar is higher than Chico. His only handicap is physical fitness, which needs time and patience and in a club like Juve that is unforgiving for many players.

He have great crosses, probably best in Juve rn and i can see him thrive here if we sign someone like Sorloth/Mateta who can score with head but Spalletti probably will still play headless Concencaio. I wish Concencaio stock will go up after World Cup and some gullible premier league club will offer crazy money for him.

Maybe, I don’t know, his opportunities were limited because he didn’t have much to offer? Crazy thought
