Anyone have any experience with the Stadium Tour? I am in Newcastle for a cruise and am considering booking it, only concern is that it will be during the Temporary Tour Route. I am wondering if it is still worth booking. Thanks!
Did it many years ago as a kid and recently last year in August 2025 and it was really good and decently priced imo, well worth doing if you get the chance. Unsure how it will work if the pitch is currently under construction mind (unsure if that’s currently ongoing)

Definitely still worth it. Bummer that you can’t go pitchside but there is plenty more to enjoy.
Like spotting the slowly corroding Intertoto Plaque in the European adventures display case.
(It is a genuinely great experience. The tour guides are fantastic.)

It’ll probably be kind of cooler. They’re doing a full rebuild on the pitch, not just the usual surface job. I saw someone who claimed to work in that area saying it’s more like once a decade that they’ll properly redo it.
It’s not the same, but you won’t get many chances to see how the sausage is made to this extent. They’re meant to be putting some new tech in. No idea what it’ll do, but I’m sure the guides will know.

Seeing the stadium at its quietest is a surreal experience. You’ll be able to see plenty even without pitch side, my personal favourite is the players dressing room where you’ll know what space your favourite player takes.
