  1. Honestly living in Australia it’s made my life easier, I no longer wanna wake up at 2am for the matches

This is a nightmare. No excitement for new season. We need change. Thanks slot but time for change.

It was pretty obvious for me when Salah and Robbo announced they were leaving. The fact Jones is likely to go to, getting rid of the majority of the Klopp era and hoping he can build his own. Can’t see it working personally.

Gonna ruin his legacy I’m afraid, it will be a hero to villain story if he stays for another season.

They are truly sticking to their guns. FSG are truly the most boomer dads of all club owners.

  6. Nervously checking Bournemouth’s remaining fixtures was not on my bingo card for May. Thanks Slot 👍

Oh well. That’s 5,000 minutes of my life I’ll save next year not watching his dogshit ‘football’.

We will be looking for a new manager in October and Xabi won’t be available.

The club hierarchy were “ruthless” enough to sack Rodgers when they did and made a significant step up with who they hired. Klopp was there and available.

So I can’t for the life of me see how they’ve been watching this season unravel and thought “yeah sound, let’s just keep going with this.” Especially when Xabi is available and was apparently their no.1 target before he set off to Madrid. It’s a sliding doors moment this summer and I hope they get it right.

I was listening to the press conference … up until he was asked about the Chelsea game I was “ok, fine, I’ll accept he’s here next season”. When he started finding good things in our game vs Chelsea I lost it. Fuck it … sack him

Having Alonso right there and available and still persisting with Slot is just horrific management from our club.

Fans are up in arms, rival fans are all laughing at us. It’s pure insanity.

All I want is attractive football. Something fun to watch, to talk about, and to cheer on. I don’t really care if it’s Arne or Xabi, Xavi, Luis Enrique, or Iraola.

But I’m certain we won’t see it under Arne due to his ‘tactics’, or whatever you want to call them. We might as well just say goodbye and try someone else. We got outrun by an unlicensed Chelsea manager’s squad. A horrible Chelsea side. I don’t even want to mention all the losses we’ve suffered this season.

I’m still going to watch every damn game. Nothing is going to change that for me… This is a more toxic relationship than those with any of my very toxic ex-girlfriends.

Edit: I want to add that I’m not interested in a permanent manager shuffe á la Chelsea/Man United. But, when someone is obviously not improving, and have lost the fans, that should be it…

  14. Where is that one guy who’ll comment: “Good. We need to keep this very promising coach and not fall for a shiny new toy Xabi”.

The players aren’t fit enough, the tactics are amateur, the mentality isn’t there and we’ve suffered historic losses this season. He’s lost at least 50% of the players and 90% of the fans and still refuses to accept any real responsibility or criticism.

There is only one way this ends and hopefully it’s in the Summer and not a few months into next season.

I have every reason to hope you won’t be the Liverpool manager next season

Pure arrogance from our leadership. They can’t back down from a bad decision. Especially after they couldn’t accept having differing opinions from Klopp.

From their perspective this is their return to vindicate themselves, I feel. There always had to be pride and arrogance for them to leave the way they did, and now I’m starting to worry how great it is and how far they will take the club for it.

It is a testament to how dire our football because why do I have more patience for Brendan Rodgers than I do for Slot despite the latter winning us a league.
