  2. Ben White did nothing but fall over since he got back into the Arsenal team. I'm glad that his injury means he won't be with England for the World Cup because he would have held us back (not that I am convinced about many of the players in the squad to be honest).

  3. White’s body has been in bits for 2 years, he’s given a lot to the club in fairness. Desperate for Timber to return now but it’s not looking good.

  4. so Gary neville was raging with Martinelli when Bradley was injured in the Liverpool match.. calling it a disgrace however when its a Arsenal Player had to go off injured he called it weak… and he says there is no bias… give me a break…

  5. Sorry but Gary Neville and his notion of “go in hard otherwise you’ll get injured” just shows he knows NOTHING about the distribution of forces. Matching force with an equal opposite force doesn’t automatically reduce injury risk — it depends on how the forces are distributed, absorbed, and timed.

    Newton’s third law says forces come in equal and opposite pairs, but injuries are usually caused by things like peak force (how hard the impact is). Pressure (force concentrated on a small area). Acceleration/deceleration (how suddenly your body stops or changes direction). Energy transfer and how much your tissues absorb. For example, if two people kick each other with equal force, both experience the combined full impact and can both get injured. If two cars, both travelling at 20mph crash head on the impact force is 40mph for both drivers. If one car is stationary then it’s a 20mph impact, but if one car is reversing at 15mph the impact would only be 5mph. You’re far better off trying to avoid the opposing force or redirecting if possible.
