Fucking mental to consider getting rid of moyes right now.

I wouldn’t believe this. I’d say he’s holding until June regardless. So many jobs up for grabs. He’d be mad to take one now

I don’t really see how this makes sense. Rumors are he is being considered by plenty of clubs, no reason he would single out us (as much as I love us)

Would be a massive gamble to even reach out to him and pretty disrespectful to Moyes

Moyes is getting the absolute max from the squad and close to European qualification with a squad that still lacks depth in key areas. Just the thought of replacing him now is ridiculous and disrespectful to a legend. It wasn’t long ago we were battling relegation having Moyes push us up the table and maintain good league positions is what we need.

Did we learn anything from trying to sign Tete last summer? Sounds just like an agent using our name to give Palace a push to sign him quicker or for more money.

Here’s how this plays:
Iraola comes for talks, Moyes gets wind of it and is rightly annoyed, Moyes says goodbye to the players, in June Chelsea or Newcastle approach Iraola and he rejects Everton.
Then what?
Other managers will be available next summer without a doubt, we don’t need to jump now.

With Steve Clarke leaving Scotland after the World Cup, isn’t there a chance Moyes would want to go try his hand on the international level?

On one hand i would hate to kick Moyes out because not only has he done a sound job on the pitch but an even bigget impact off the pitch.
He brought us back to having actual standards, weathered the storm when he was hired, gave us a smooth transition to the Hill Dickinson Era and we are perfectly in line with what we had expected or hoped for this season.
On the other hand he is not getting any younger, i doubt it would make sense for him to even be managing us in 2028 and if a coach of the calibre of Iraola actually is interested you almost have to pull the trigger. This could be the type of move that would see us push towards the Aston Villa tier once again.

I think it would be disrespectful to Moyes to ditch him now. But I would also LOVE to get Iraola. Can we have both?

Anyone who wants to get rid of Moyes in my opinion is absolutely delusional. We’ve had 1 season of stability after relegation battling for the past 3.
Keep the ship steady and continue to build. All you have to do is look at West Ham as the last team that tasted a tiny drop of success, fans felt like they were ready for that next step & a more exciting manager and now look at them.

Hypothetically how would he set us up.
Would it still be 4-2-3-1 but with proper fullbacks.
