Pretty sure we've al seen threads, posts and videos building the best Juventus 11 of all time. Now, it's time to do something different, let's build the WORST Juventus line-up with a 4-3-3 module.

We'll start with goalkeepers and I have two names in mind:

  • Michele Di Gregorio, he needs no introduction, all of us have seen his mistakes that, inevitably, cost us points and are making us cry for a better GK;
  • Edwin Van der Sar, also known during his time at Juve as "Edwin Scissor hands", pretty much remembered by the generation that watched 90s Juve. In the end, we replaced him with the GOAT-Kepper, Gigi Buffon. (Btw, if you watched Van der Sar at Juve, let me know if he was really THAT bad and worse than Di Gregorio or if he was better than him, I wasn't born yet)

Those are the only two names I could think of, feel free to make others in the comments.

Next up, CBs, I can't think of any name so mention them in the comments..

NOTE: We'll only consider the player's time at Juve

    Van Der Saar was a great GK, one of the best in the world during his time, he just happened to have two very bad seasons playing for us, it didn’t help that his mistakes happened during very important matches, but his career speaks for him.

  2. Van Der Saar had a few mistakes, but was still a solid GK for us… he said in one of the interviews that the language was the barrier amd that he could not communicate with players…
    As for defenders: Jorge Andrade, Marco Mota, Reto Ziegler, Boumsong, Lucio

    Are we really sure in putting DiGre as a top-2 worst starting GKs of all time? He’s been bad, but it seems a bit harsh…

  4. Van der Sar story in Juve it’s like Henry 2.0. He was so bad so it was impossible to believe how good he became in United.
    However even though he was bad in Juve – he can’t beat Di Gregorio. Van der Sar was making some mistakes but Di Gregorio is just so not confident in a frame so there is a constant fear that whenever ball will move towards goal – it will definitely touch the net.
    Di Gregorio in my head competes with Bartez, it’s a tier lower
