Newcastle United will explore selling Yoane Wissa in the summer, less than a year after signing him for a fee rising to £55million.
Wissa joined Newcastle from Brentford on September 1 after a protracted pursuit that encompassed most of the summer window.
The striker, who is on a long-term contract, wants to stay at St James’ Park.

Brentford really bent Newcastle over on this one.
Bueno has been a disappointment at United too. What’s happened to Ivan Toney? Notwithstanding making a fortune, he’s playing in a farmer’s league. In the meantime Igor Thiago may well play for Brazil in the World Cup. Maybe the other man’s grass outside of Brentford isn’t as green as they all thought.
Isak has scored more goals than Wissa this season

I don’t think anyone with fiscal knowledge at the club would countenance this. We’ll be seeing a fair few of these articles over the next few weeks as the manager deflects from results. He’s talking like hell be here in the summer but I don’t think that’s a guarantee with ownership yet…

No way they dont make an enormous loss on him and also have to pay wages on top. He has almost no value right now. Best bet is either a loan, or build him back up and sell while his stock is not below the floor.

With the current shift towards SCR, Newcastle arent going to sell him for less than hes current book value, which would be like around 45m, and Newcastle arent getting that for him at the minute
