To be honest I didn’t really think we’d beat Fulham away anyway. Losing to Spurs and keeping them up however would be very embarrassing. I’ve got wonderful memories of relegating Newcastle and Coventry and I’d love to do the same to Spurs.
Then Burnley away has to be a win. After that we can do what we want, either beat Liverpool and finish fourth or lose/draw and finish 5th, then lose to City to prevent Arteta from smugly dancing around with the PL trophy.

I just feel we will do the typical way Villa always do it … leave it to the last game of the season and I’m worried as that game hasn’t been kind to us. Lead at City and lost it. Smashed at Palace. Lost at United. Sooner this is wrapped the better otherwise I’m booking an extra session with my psychologist!

We were fucking pathetic yesterday, sloppy, leggy, unorganised. It looked like it was the first round of a league cup game that we couldn’t be arsed with. Hopefully it was just ‘one of them’ as we have one of the most important fortnights ahead of us that I can remember.

After a loss it always feels a bit mental, and after a win it feels like, well we will never lose again
I dont mind having a rant after a game, but then I move on. But im not sure that was worse than the brentford or Everton home games.
I had a comment a few weeks ago referring to this season as unai squeezing the last drops out of the toothpaste with the situation we were in in the summer and the bad start to the season, ghe aging squad with no pace. And at the time it got a lot of up votes and postive comments. But if I had wrote it yesterday it would have been downvoted into oblivion

They are both correct. Bigger picture as long as Brighton or Chelsea don’t overtake us, it means nothing….but it was also one of the most tepid, pathetic performances I’ve seen. Looked like a team down around the wolves/burnley level than a team in the champions league

This fanbase is mental. Can only imagine the headloss if we ever have a season like the one Newcastle are having. Away games in this league are very tough due to the quality that every team in the league has. We’re literally 8 points clear in a champions league position with 4 games to go. Perspective needed

If Rogers scores that, we probably win. My issue is when we concede first we’re usually screwed and fairly one dimensional.
