Frenkie de Jong on Instagram: “As a kid, I dreamed of one day playing for FC Barcelona. That I’m now the Dutch player with the most appearances for this club makes me proud. Been here for some years and still it only feels like the beginning. Visca Barça Sempre”

culer through and through
no hype , no media ,no show off just pure class !!

My dutch goat💙♥️
Cruyff would be proud
His quote just describes his career here:
“I have to admit that when I signed for Barcelona, I didn’t imagine that I would only win a La Liga, a Copa del Rey and a Spanish Super Cup after 4 years,” he said.
“I expected at least the double, so it disappoints me. Things happen outside that you can’t predict.”
Kinda underachieved the hype he got when he came.
Class
3rd pic looks amazing

“Been here for some years and it only feels like the beginning”
At least he has some self awareness 😝 7 years and nothing has changed
And to think we had a media campaign to smear him and get his wages off the books. He fought for what was rightfully his, stayed despite the criticism and won back our hearts. A true Culer and legend in the making.
I’ve been a fan of him since he was in Ajax, I’ve loved watching him play for Barca.
Really sad how people have made him the villain so many times, it’s just sad.
I remember the massive hype with teen sensations Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt when the duo help Ajax in their CL campaign 2018-2019 before bowing out in the semis.
Now, almost a decade later it is only FDJ left fulfilling his actual potential… Good job dude!
I’m sorry, but the fact that this guy has been here for +6 years, is a captain and doesn’t know yet that it’s written “Visca el Barça”… my man, we aren’t even asking you to learn catalan, but these are just 3 words
Capitan 💙❤
Remember when Barca fans wanted him gone?
He’s been here through one of the toughest moments in the club’s modern history. With Bartomeu butchering the club’s finances, Messi’s departure, and our chain of European disaster classes (including, but not limited to, getting knocked out of the Europa league twice).
Frenkie has also been subject to a lot of scrutiny from fans and media. It seemed like three consecutive years that a sale to Man United was on the cards.
I’m elated that he’s still here, and I hope he lifts the CL title soon. He deserves it as much as anyone on the squad.
Love Frenkie
Hope he retires here

No balls player. Cannot win the CL with someone who’s scared to even jump for the ball. 5:7 midget Lautaro is flying over him LOL. Joke off the ball this guy.
May be bias because I like Barca, but I haven’t seen any other club ever being loved this much by the players.
And people say he doesn’t love Barca
