Chivu did some Saiyan ass fusion on this dude by zapping together the regista Calha that’s been a staple the past four years with the more forward oriented Ottoman catapult from before he settled with us.
He’s been a delight this year. And considering last summer started fully fisted under all the Turkish transfer bullshit, his contract seems like a fucking nobrainer. KEEP HIM FOR LIFE.
I would love for him to stay but this is a slippery slope. The same thing happened with Sommer. At the end of last season, everyone hailed him as an amazing signing but eventually, your age catches up with you and I worry that might be what’s in store for next season. That being said, we were worried about that last season and he showed us lol
