    It was a historic night at BC Place, as Vancouver Whitecaps FC put in a dominant display, dismantling Philadelphia Union 7-0 in front of a third straight sell-out crowd.

    Vancouver Whitecaps FC have clinched their spot in the 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs. For the first time in club history, the ’Caps have qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs in three consecutive seasons, marking their fourth appearance in the past five years and eighth overall. Clinching a playoff spot in their 28th match sets a club record for the earliest qualification. Whitecaps FC 2025 playoffs are presented by BLG and BMO.

      I am very happy for Thomas to be doing so well in Canada and that the Canadians are welcoming him. I am a Bayern Fan and I always loved him. I am glad it is working out. Looking forward to see Canada play Germany in the next world cup. Canada rocks.

      Why does the crowd in the Us celebrating like they're just pretending to have fun? You got our beloved Müller but you have to give him more noise! He is from Germany, he can't hear you, we damaged his ears 😅

      Many people here still think the Whitecaps are playing subpar soccer like in the NASL era. Wrong. The game now features some of the best around the world.

      If you want to keep the European fans Müller got you, you have to stop spoilering the outcome of the game in title or thumbnail. There is few things in sports we hate more than snitching. So happy for tha caps for this game, that I'm not going to watch anymore 😉

      As a German who isn't even that interested in Football, I am just happy that Müller is having such a great time over there and bringing joy to his new Canadian fans. Enjoy the ride ! PS: I really have to visit Canada again, it has been too long.

      Müller is the kind of player who wants to ride the wave of success for as long as possible.
      He was never particularly outstanding himself, and was often carried along by a good team.
      It's therefore good to see that his skill level is still sufficient for other clubs, but unfortunately no longer for the top clubs.

      Three days before the Finals and this appears in my feed. I am so effing nervous! Not just about the quality of opponent in Miami FC, but the ominous shadow of questionable officiating. I'll be praying to the Footy Gods that neither side receive a red card. That's what I'm hoping for.

      All of my Bayern jerseys have the number 25 on the back of them. I need to get a Whitecaps jersey with the number 13 because Thomas Muller is my favorite player and he still is the raumdeuter!

      Edit: Philly's GK did an amazing job. He was working overtime but made some amazing saves.

      Love how Müller still doesn`t celebrate himself when he scored…as when he was here in Germany he first celebrated with his teammates. A man for the team! We love you Thomas!
