City have had 5 title winning seasons with an extended period playing with at least one game in hand.
This season its the Palace game.
23/24 it was the Spurs game.
22/23 it was West Ham & Brighton games.
20/21 they had the start of the season delayed because of CL final, lead since GW 20 after they had played equal games to everyone.
13/14 they had at least 2 games in hand on Liverpool and Chelsea for a while.

I’d like to know how many days City have spent with games in hand during that period. I feel like that’s a contributing factor.
