I told this before that Mbappe is not LW. This is about how he positioning himself. He does not like to go right side.
With this 2 LW's not only box presence but also not right wing at all. All RM's attacks coming from left. This is bad for the players who plays on right side like RB and RMF. Most of the time there is no one to pass. No one to cross because no body in box too. Right side players are suffering.

They operate in the same areas I dont know what should happen in the long term

Exactly.
One is doing his job as LW
One is overlapping the LW and not doing his job as a “9”
mbappe can’t do the lw job full time any more. and yuno what. neither can vini. they drift to the left but they can’t do the job of the modern lw, who has to be essentially an attacking wing back for the entire game
Both don’t do what’s necessary which is running back and defend, they can get away with that against Alaves but not against Bayern or other big clubs.
That’s why Rodrygo sacrificed himself on the right wing, but people said he was stupid.
TLDR: Vini is a REAL LW (obv) and Mbappe is a LF for reasons, rather than a LW or CF. Most likely won’t work out between them given that overlap though, unless sacrifices are made. The board will most likely HAVE to sell one of them for the team to work.
Vini is a pure LW, likes to cut inside but also likes to dribble wide and play crosses into the box. Very skillful and a much better dribbler than Mbappe.
Mbappe is NOT a striker but also not a left winger either. When he’s on the left, I hardly see him crossing, he always goes for a shot if he can. He’s very much a free roam inside forward. He really likes being on the left but he does also like to drift to the middle and the right. Mbappe drops deep and tries to dribble too often to be a number 9, and no , just because you start at CF in a game doesn’t make that your position. He slows down play too much, and isn’t a touch and go player, unlike most strikers. And despite a few headers, he is hardly an arial threat like a real number 9 also. Hell, Jude and our defenders, and even fucking carvajal are better arial threats than Mbappe. Mbappe scores goal at CF because he’s the best player in the world, not because he’s a good striker.
I think the board is going to realize that it’s gonna have to be one or the other. I’m not a Vini out person by any means, I’m a huge fan of his and everything he’s done us, he’s a club legend. Don’t argue w me, argue against 2 UCLs with a goal in each final and 3 La Liga titles. But all that said, I just think it’s not gonna work out for them as a duo, and Mbappe is the better player. I’d rather keep him tbh. UNLESS they make a sacrifice, and with their superstar status and ego, I doubt that sacrifice is going to be made. Just my two cents.
Mbappe is NOT a LW
He hasn’t played on the LW in years
Stop the narratives brother
Yes.
Both of them are ST (Striker)
Yada yada yada wasting your energy on this topic as long as Perez president Mbappe is ST.
Vini is a pure left winger who is a worse finisher, mbappe likes to roam more but never play in his role, tries to be involved in the build up when sometimes all he needs to do is wait for his chance.
At the end you could tell Mbappe was frustrated. He went to the right wing instead. We need to go for a striker in the summer
this other guy today played DM,AM,RW,ST,LW and was shit at all positions
we need a proper striker so badly man
Real madrid needs a low profile striker like joselu to bother the defenders like a true #9, to that time our attack will never be as good as it should be
lw mbappe is like watching speed
Ironically he started from the right, Monaco and first PSG years. But it is what it is, we need to solve it or sell someone
One is a LW and one is a left-footed striker who used to play on the left wing, what did you expect from this heat map?
I don’t understand how Mbappe went from a player malleable and versatile enough to win a World Cup as a pure RW to a player who can only operate as a strange cross between a LW and a ST.
Mbappe needs to learn to stay central.
We don’t really gain much from him dropping deep
