"German media outlet Bild are now reporting that the joint in his knee is "more severely damaged" than originally thought and the youngster has not even been able to do any individual rehabilitation work on the grass. A comeback against Hoffenheim this Saturday night in Hamburg is currently looking doubtful with no timeline of return given by the outlet."

At this point, just assume it's a 12 month injury.

  1. Gutted for him as that’s likely him missing the World Cup where he likely would’ve played a major role, if this injury is as serious as feared.

Does an injury like this make it more likely he would stay at the club (regardless of what league we are in next season), the same way Kulusevski or Odobert might stay given their long term injuries?

At least now he can’t be traded and we get to see him play in the Championship ☺️👈💥

I’m still blaming our medical department for this 🔪

  4. I’m strangely comforted to know that you don’t have to be a Spurs player at Spurs to be afflicted by our injury curse because it means it’s actually a curse not something prosaic like shit medical staff or a poorly designed retractable pitch!

  5. i was rooting for Vušković to make the Croatian roster for the 2026 World Cup. Gutted for him:(

  6. His tactics are too reckless and players are getting hurt, I’m officially Ange OUT

  7. This is fake news according to Croatian newspapers. They say he is training with no injury setback

So I’d guess at he’s going to be out for the majority of the summer, but schedule surgery after the World Cup just in case. Then due to that, it’ll end up making more sense to spend another year at Hamburg just like he always wanted.

He’ll be back, just as we’re crowned champions in The Championship 👍
