4 of City’s 6 remaining games are against teams in the top half of the form table, all 5 of ours are against teams in the bottom half.

We’re only 2 points worse off than them despite playing teams in better form, and if we’d gotten a draw yesterday we’d be 2 points better off than them.

A really disappointing run of results but thought this analysis might add some perspective. COYG.

  1. I have hopes for Bournemouth away, Brentford at home and Everton away. Only issue is that as the season goes on form goes out the window and those who have something to play for become the form teams.

West Ham away is hard for us!

The only perspective I’ve taken from this is the fact that, as a team trying to be champions, we’ve dropped points in 50% of our league games in 2026.

Astonishingly poor and I don’t know why we’re being repeatedly told to gain perspective when we’ve dropped points to two teams battling relegation, got knocked out of the FA Cup by a championship team, lost a cup final *very* convincingly and scraped through to the champions league semi final by an goal in stoppage time.

1 win in 6 is all the perspective we should need as to how this season has gone. City once again showing us it isn’t about how we start, it’s about how we finish.

We’ve drawn against Wolves and Forest. Recently lost to a team in the Championship

Can we stop with the whole “we have easier fixtures” narrative

If we have a flawless run from now on, we might do it. But we run-in Pep to not show up, and he looks like his old self lately can’t lie.

  5. our 2024, and 2025 form is crazy, only lose 3 and 4 matches respectively. Anyone who doesnt know who the champion was might think we had won it 2 years in a row. its frustrating for the fans, and more frustrating to the players and arteta.

Our “best defense in the world” gimmick went to shit. Not true for couple of months at least.
