First goal is not entirely his fault. Simons leaves Gross with so much space, and time. It allowed both Gross to pinpoint Mitoma, and Mitoma the time to get into the box. The last goal yes is his fault.

He’s always had the defensive awareness of a winger imo. Nothing new here. He should be playing rw seeing as we don’t have one and spence can be a fullback properly.

Damned if you and damned if you don’t. Porro played a full 90, led the team yesterday in touches, passes in final third, final third entries, and crosses. Not sure how much we can expect from a single player.

I actually think he made the right decision to leave Mitoma for the first, it’s 0.04xG from there. Just a ridiculous strike.
Great spot on the second goal, I was confused why there were no midfielders where Rutter was. Poor from Porro to rush out meaning Palhinha has to cover

Simons goal celebration got 8 minutes injury time added on which came back to bite spurs. It was a fun party while it lasted but it had disasterous consequences.

Its not just him, we have no defensive discipline.
Porro, Romero, VDV, Spence, Udogie all constantly waiting for a chance to run up and let someone else cover for them.
I dont remember but thats Tel in no mans land as well for the goal ? Might not have mattered. But a goal up, basically a man down and breaks formation to have a go.
